Exciting Sensory Play with Messy Senses

Since establishing Messy Senses Ltd in 2016, we have been delivering our inclusive sensory messy play sessions to a huge variety of children, young people and adults across the East Midlands.

Our sessions are specifically designed to benefit all ages and abilities and are delivered within a safe and secure environment by our friendly and fully trained staff team.

Sessions are structured yet free-flowing, allowing everyone to 'Explore, Learn & Play' at their own pace.

We offer a full range of services, including mums & tots sessions, alternative education within schools, intergenerational sessions for the elderly and world-wide training on the benefits of sensory interventions.

Meet the Messy Senses!

"Hey, I’m Enya Eye. I love to explore through my sense of sight. My favourite thing to do in the whole wide world is to look through my magnifying glass at all things small!"
Image
"Ahh… ahh… AHHH… CHOOOOOO! Norbert Nose here, nice to meet you. I use my sense of smell to recognise different things; some I like, some I don’t!"
Image

"Yo! Eddi
Ears here. Shake…
shake… shake… those maracas! Ha ha… I use sound to help develop my communication skills! What sounds can
you hear?"

Image

"Hello! My name is
Henly Hand and I just
LOVE making a mess with my paint brush. It helps me with my coordination and creativity! My favourite colour is red… what’s yours?"

"Tula Tongue
is my name,
Tasting food is my game,
Some are savoury,
Some are sweet,
I taste new flavours
Every week!"

  • positive review  We were kindly offered a free trial at Messy Senses and my little girl absolutely loved it. So many different messy plays set up, Louise is amazing, takes time out to speak to parents & children. Would highly recommend!

  • positive review  Messy Senses is amazing! Me and my boy have been attending for nearly a year. Each week there are different stations that excite the different senses and keep the children engaged and happy. Lousie and Anne Marie create such a calm and friendly atmosphere their love of their job really shows! My boy runs in and can't wait to get started!

  • positive review  We hired Louise for our daughters 3rd birthday party , she did an absolutely amazing job with the stations. She spent the time getting to know what we wanted and delivered! All the kids had a blast and I didn’t have to do a single thing. Would really highly recommend her x

  • positive review  I’ve just started messy play with my little girl and she LOVES it! First of all- the staff are so friendly and approachable. Second, the activities are so much fun, varied and really well thought out. It is so obvious that a lot of time and planning has gone into each activity. Finally, they promote a non clicky environment which I think is so important for mums (and dads) in new groups. I’ve tried groups before and they haven’t had this ethos and it can feel isolating. They are also disabled friendly which is brilliant- open to all. The way it should be!!!

  • Our 7 month old absolutely loved his first session at Messy Senses and we're glad we've booked onto the new winter term - he got to experience everything on offer and really got stuck in which made the hour fly past. It's nice that a "Non Cliquey" environment is encouraged too which no doubt helps with new mums joining the group. Next week... we'll definitely be taking a towel!
